Profile:
- Designer, artist or programmer with creative talent, skills to create three-dimensional worlds and communicate stories through scenarios.
- Knowledge of design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Clip Studio, etc.) to sketch and conceptualize ideas.
- Knowledge of Game Design tools (Unreal engine, Unity, Godot, treenchbroom or mods).
- Handling of office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) that will help you communicate ideas and concepts with the rest of the team.
- Good communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret the game concept as indicated by the Game Designer.
- Sketch and implement environments to create the structure of the game’s levels and scenarios.
- Determine the flow and pace of events within the level in charge.
- Iterate by actively implementing the feedback provided by the team.
- Work with artists and programmers to integrate the levels with the mechanics and visual, sound and interactive elements.
- Document changes made, new implementations, use of tools and other specifications that affect level design and creation.
Portfolio:
- Graphic design or traditional art pieces (focused on video games).
- Academic, personal or professional exercises that demonstrate the development process of a level since its conceptualization, from sketches to a blockout result (Preferably playable)
Bonus:
- Handling of Unreal Engine and knowledge of Blueprints.
- Knowledge of Architecture and 3D Modeling.
- Levels created with map editors such as Minecraft, Halo Forge, UEFN Gmod, etc.
- Verbal and written communication in English.
