How to get started
We constantly receive many emails with a similar question: where to start to eventually be a possible candidate for the vacancies that Efecto is continually opening. Currently we can group the profiles that make up our team into two main areas: Artists and Programmers.

Nevertheless, this is a general outline of fields in which to work, but there is more specificity in the craft as we delve into the developer profession.
For example, if you are interested in being a UI programmer, you should first know all the elements that make up the game engine in depth, and thus be able to perform that function in a more meticulous and professional way.
If your passion is the arts and you would like to be a great Concept Artist, understanding everything that the creation of a 3D model entails is essential to be able to better understand and express what a 3D artist requires, and thus, be more precise and impactful in the conceptual design.
On the other hand, 3D Art has a wide variety of paths, or specialties; you can focus on creatures, Hard-Surface modeling, characters, props and anything with varying levels of realism: from stylized to hyperrealistic. The field is wide and the needs varied.
